Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina
- 1 liter milk
- 4 tablespoons Gürsoy Hazelnut Meal
- ½ cup sugar or 6 tablespoons honey
For the Sauce:
- 350g strawberries
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or sweetener
- Juice of ½ lemon
For Serving:
- Gürsoy Diced Hazelnuts
- Fresh mint
- Seasonal fruits
Preparation
1| Pour the milk into a saucepan, then add the semolina and hazelnut flour. Cook the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly until it thickens and starts to bubble.
2| Once the mixture begins to boil, remove it from the heat.
3| Stir in the vanilla extract and brown sugar. (You can substitute sugar with a sweetener if preferred.)
4| Lightly wet a rectangular glass or baking dish with water to make it easier to remove the dessert later.
5| Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and let it cool.
6| For the strawberry sauce, cut large strawberries into small pieces and halve the smaller ones.
7| In a saucepan, add the chopped strawberries and sugar, then squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
8| Cook the strawberries until they release their color. Toward the end, add the halved strawberries and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
9| Invert the semolina dessert onto a serving plate. Pour the strawberry sauce over it, decorate the edges with fresh strawberries, and place fresh mint leaves in the center.
